This site is operated by Meritus Management LLC, doing business as North Peak Digital, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States. Northpeak Digital is the name shown throughout this website. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the site operator. This policy covers this website and inquiries about our services. A separate client agreement may address information handled during a paid project.

Information you choose to send

If you email us, we receive your email address, name or signature, message, and any information or attachments you include. The project inquiry form asks for your name, email address, the type of website you are considering, and a project description. When you press Send, your browser sends those details to FormSubmit, a form delivery provider, which forwards the inquiry to our email inbox. The form does not store submissions on this website.

Service finder API

Our public API can list website services and recommend a starting package from structured choices, such as an approximate page count or whether you need a brand identity. It does not ask for names, email addresses, or free-text descriptions. The API does not create an inquiry or store those choices in a separate application database. Our hosting provider may process technical request information as described below. Following a contact link takes you to the project inquiry form, where the form practices described here apply.

Information involved in a site visit

When you visit, the hosting service and the systems that deliver this website may process technical information such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, approximate time of access, and security or error events. We may receive or review such records when needed to operate or protect the site. The precise records and retention periods of those providers are governed by their systems and policies.

Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive material through the project inquiry form or email.

• Run and protect the site: deliver pages, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
• Keep necessary records: maintain correspondence relating to a business relationship, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, these activities may rest on steps you request before a contract, our legitimate interest in communicating and operating a secure business, or a legal obligation, as applicable. We do not use an inquiry as permission to add you to an email marketing list.

Our current website uses Vercel for hosting, FormSubmit for inquiry delivery, and Google Workspace / Gmail for our business inbox. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Other providers may help maintain business records. FormSubmit processes the information you send through the inquiry form to deliver it to our inbox. Read FormSubmit’s privacy notice for its practices. We may also share information with professional advisers when needed, or with authorities when legally required or necessary to protect rights and security. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising through the current website. If the business changes hands, relevant records may transfer subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

When you email us directly, your own email provider also handles that message under its terms and privacy practices. Links to another site take you to that site's own privacy practices.

The current website code does not set analytics or advertising cookies, use tracking pixels, or store visitor profiles in browser storage. The form contacts FormSubmit only when you choose to submit it. If JavaScript is unavailable, submission takes you to FormSubmit, whose own cookie and privacy practices apply.

Browser privacy signals

Our current site does not track visitors across other websites or use inquiry information for cross-context advertising. Its behavior does not change in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals because those tracking and advertising activities are not enabled. We will reassess these signals and any required choices before adding tools that change these practices.

The current website does not install an analytics tool, Meta Pixel, advertising tracker, newsletter tool, or payment checkout. Its fonts and site images are served with the website instead of being requested from a separate font or image service. The hosting platform may use technical logs or essential security mechanisms to deliver and protect the site. The form delivery service is contacted when you submit an inquiry. We will update this notice before adding tracking or advertising tools that change how visitor data is used, and provide any choice required by law.

We keep inquiry emails and related records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, consider or perform a project, maintain appropriate business records, meet legal obligations, or address a dispute. We then delete or de-identify them when practical, unless a longer period is required. FormSubmit, hosting, and email providers may retain submissions or technical records according to their own policies and schedules. You can ask us about a specific message or request deletion using the email below.

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information we handle and rely on service providers to protect their systems. No website, email service, or transmission method is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information through the inquiry form.

You may choose not to submit the form or email us, and you can ask us to stop discussing a project. Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information we hold about you, or to object to or limit certain uses. Contact payton@northpeakdigital.net with a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may retain information where law permits or requires it. We will respond as applicable law requires.

The current website does not use personal information for targeted advertising or sell it. If that changes, we will update this notice and provide required controls.

Children

This business website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

Visitors outside the United States

We operate from the United States. Our hosting, form delivery, and email providers may process information in the United States or other places where they operate. Where a relevant law requires additional safeguards for an international transfer, we will address those requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site and our practices change. We will post the revised text and date here. If a change materially expands how we use information already collected, we will provide any notice or choice required by applicable law before that new use.
